Edward Cating is the Executive Director of Minerva Arts Center (The MAC).  The MAC is a community arts center and performance space located at 1288 Massachusetts Avenue, in North Adams, MA in the Historic Blackinton district. Visit www.minervastage.com for details of our exciting summer schedule! Edward is also a realist painter specializing in landscape, portraiture, and still life. His work has been included in two Berkshire Biennials, numerous group shows in Boston, and in group and solo shows at The Harrison Gallery, to name a few. Cating’s paintings may be seen in galleries, cafes, and restaurants  in the Berkshires, Southern Vermont, and New Yorks’s Hudson Valley.

Cating holds a BFA in Theatre from Southwestern University and a Studio Diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (’02).
